We provide high quality care, before and after school, 5 days a week. Most of our members of staff are qualified in Playwork or equivalent. We are a charity and a community run business overseen by a committee of parents, who are passionate about the best care for their children as well as yours.

Our Ethos

We are Creative

No mess is bad mess

Our most loved activities are making slime, making play dough and basically putting glitter on everything.

We are Passionate

Our Staff

The main reason the club is fun is that our staff are friendly, energetic and love their jobs. They put the play in playwork.

What We Do

A Highly Skilled, Professional and Friendly Service

After School Club

£12 regular sessions & £13 for ad-hocs. We offer a range activities (see below). These are mainly based on children's own ideas. We also have board games, dressing up and a range of books available every day, and some days we have karaoke.

Breakfast Club

£7.70 per session & £8 for ad-hocs. Open from 7:15 and last serving of breakfast is 8.20 am to give us time to tidy and be ready for children to go to school , we offer a healthy choice of cereals, porridge, toast and fruit juice. Some of the children's favourite activities include Hangman, Cobra Paw and Hamma Beads.

 Homework Club

For 30 mins a day (5.10pm start), children are offered time to do their homework with support from a member of staff. We can't promise to be geniuses, but we will do our best.

Snack

At After School Club, we provide the children with a snack, should they want one. Children are offered toast, bread rolls, pitta breads, tiger bread, bloomer bread, crumpets and other breaded items with a variety of fruit or salad items.

Outdoor Activities

Every day, the children can choose to play outdoor for the majority of the session. Favourite activities include football, roller skates, scooters and table tennis. In summer we also have water play. Children must be provided with suitable clothing as we go out in all weathers.

Indoor Activities

We also have a staff lead, indoor, craft activity. This is something different every day, and could be anything from painting or collages to making slime or play dough. Children can take what they make home with them, providing parents approve.

Craft and Games

As well as a planned craft activity, children are free to make, draw, colour or construct anything they like, within reason. We also have a vast collection of board games and card games, which the children can play with as and when they like.

Committee Run

We value the opinion of every parent and child. If you feel you want to get involved with the club then please contact us for more information. Join the parents that make our great club happen.
